Client: Centre for Environment, Fisheries & Aquaculture Science (Cefas)
Date: April 2009
Brief:
CEFAS is part of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and they have their own vessell - The Endeavour - which is based in Lowestoft and is used to carry out scientific research at sea. My brief was to take pictures of it arriving in the Pool of London through Tower Bridge, mooring alongside HMS Belfast and then playing host to a delegation of members of Parliament so that the pictures could be used for CEFAS's publicity and in DEFRA's magazine.
Delivery: The client received an initial 'press edit' of 20 pictures on the day and then an edit of 140 images later that evening as a web gallery which stayed on line for one month. Full resolution versions of the same 140 pictures were delivered to them on a DVD the following day.
