Client: The Job Magazine
Date: January 2009
Brief:
The Job is the house magazine of the Metropolitan Police force. It provides police staff in London with information as well as being available for the wider community get news about the policing of the capital. I was asked to shoot a portrait of the new Commissioner Sir Paul Stephenson in his office at New Scotland Yard and then to take pictures of his first address to a huge gathering of police staff at Methodist Central Hall in central London.
Delivery: The magazine received an edit of 22 portraits and 26 pictures from the address via FTP within an hour of the end of each part of the commission. They were working against tight deadlines and it was essential that the pictures were edited and transmitted on-site.
